Originally from Coventry, Oggy Ogara has been surrounded by music for as long as he can remember. Born in 1966, he grew up in the golden age of vinyl, long before computers and streaming, building a lifelong love of records and the power of a great song.
Oggy presents N. Soul on Monster Radio and also steps in to cover shows across the station. His musical world is wide open: every genre, every decade and every tune with enough energy to get you moving.
With influences ranging from ska and reggae to indie, Oggy’s aim is simple - create the soundtrack that makes people dance, live in the moment and forget everything else for a while.
A self-confessed bit of a hippie, Oggy loves the connection that comes from sharing music with an audience. Whether it is a classic favourite, an unexpected gem or a track that sparks a memory, he is all about turning up the volume and letting the music do the talking.
