Ringo Stone
Meet our dedicated team members and their unique stories.
Born in Chelsea to Spanish parents and raised in South London before moving to Lanzarote, Ringo Stone brings bubbly energy, funky grooves and a love of classic music to Monster Radio.
Ringo first began DJing many moons ago in a club in Arrecife, spinning chart music and learning how to keep a room moving. Today, she hosts Club A Go Go every Saturday from 5pm to 8pm, serving up a brilliant mix of 1950s and 1960s favourites.
Her sound is built around feel-good classics, with The Beatles firmly at the heart of her musical world. She also loves music from the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s and selected 90s tracks, so there is always room for a surprise or two.
Groovy, eccentric and impulsive by her own admission, Ringo enjoys connecting with listeners and sharing the tunes that make people smile. Off air, she plays guitar and ukulele and is slowly getting to grips with the piano too.
Picking one song that puts her in a good mood is almost impossible, but favourites include “In My Life” by The Beatles and “Louie Louie” by The Kingsmen.
